The “TRANSFORMASI DIGITAL: Pengurusan Kos Inovatif Melalui Teknologi Pembinaan 5D BIM” (Innovative Cost Management Digital Transformation Through 5D BIM Technology) seminar, organized by Glodon, was successfully held at the MyBIM Center, CIDB. The event served as a key platform for industry leaders and professionals to explore the integration of advanced construction technologies, focusing on the innovative capabilities of Glodon’s Cubicost software, widely used by Quantity Surveyors for precise quantity generation.
A key segment of the seminar was a panel forum titled “BIM: Necessity or Choice”. The forum brought together notable panelists, including Deputy Chairman of PBM Ir. Ts. Faiz from JKR Malaysia, PBM Secretary Mr. Iyas Mahzan, and Sr. Asri from Baharudin Ali & Low, with Puan Junaida from Glodon serving as the moderator. The discussion explored the importance and potential of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in shaping the future of the construction industry.
The seminar also featured technology-sharing sessions led by Glodon, alongside presentations from local companies showcasing their transition from conventional methods to digital solutions. A significant highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between Glodon and SEGi University. This collaboration is set to integrate 5D BIM technology into higher education programs, equipping future professionals with essential skills for industry advancements.
