Founding and Vision

Pertubuhan BIM Malaysia was established in 2023 with a visionary goal: to create a unified platform for experts and enthusiasts in the field of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across Malaysia. PBM serves as a group of dedicated professionals came together to that would foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth within this field.

OBJECTIVES

Pertubuhan BIM Malaysia has been committed to elevating the status of BIM specialists and expanding the understanding and application of BIM practices throughout the country. The organisation set out with 6 clear objectives as stated in our organisation constitution

Enhancing the level of professionalism among members

Research

Conducting and organizing studies, papers, surveys, or research on aspects related to this profession

Scale of Fees

Establishing a reasonable fee scale for services in this profession within the industry

Professional Code

Establishing a code for this profession in the registration of the Ministry of Finance, the Construction Industry Development Board, and other professional boards

Competency

Establishing the required levels of competency and skills for practitioners of this profession in the construction, engineering, architecture, and asset management sector

Cooperation

Cooperating with the government and its agencies in implementing national policies, especially those involving this profession
